Become a Mentor

Professional Mentor

We are always actively seeking top level college students, entrepreneurs, leaders & professionals to serve as mentors to youth that are in their last year of YACD’s after school program.

This category of trained individuals are needed to introduce the youth that we coach in the classroom to authentic workplace settings and theory based learning.

While the organization realizes that some work environments are neither safe nor appropriate for youth career shadowing, YACD will be in a position to arrange second-year program mentors with certain students in safe and monitored environments outside of a professional's workplace for this reason. Please scroll to the area below and provide us with your full name, company, phone number, email and the best time to contact you.

Business Program Partners

YACD welcomes businesses, charitable foundations, philanthropists & everyday citizens to monetarily support the career development-based programs that we support youth through.  We also are willing to work with companies that seek to hire talent from the pool of YACD’s trained program participants.   Many of YACD’s program participants will immediately seek careers that don’t require a 4 year college or university education.  As a result, they will travel routes that further advance their studies through various post-secondary vocational programs & certificates.  Regardless of the individual paths that each YACD program participant may take, we firmly stand committed in supporting the gainful employment of each of YACD program participant.

For this reason, the YACD organization seeks to build mutually beneficial relationships with foundations & business partners throughout the continent of Africa for the overall welfare of our youth.

Let's grow as partners together to advance the platform of youth career development throughout the continent of Africa.  We extend open arms to potential employers that are interested in establishing partnerships with our organization for the intent of hiring and/or supporting our youth program participants.    All monetary donations to further support YACD's training initiatives are also both welcomed and appreciated.   For all interested partners, please provide us with your information in the boxes below.

Become a Volunteer

The intent of this program is to serve as a non-paid internship training ground for last year students.  Career shadowing opportunities for our youth help them  to adequately determine if the career field that they are pursuing reflects as an appropriate working arena for them to further pursue.
