Willie Wynn, Jr.

Founder & CEO

Willie Wynn, Jr.  is the Founder & CEO of Youth of Africa Career Development, Inc.  He is a graduate of Jackson State University with a BBA Degree in Marketing.  Willie currently works as a Senior Sales role at the Chamberlain Group (LiftMaster Division) in the Greater Houston area.  He previously served for over three years as the West Region Manager for Spectrum Brand’s Division of Kwikset where he oversaw the entire sales and distribution network of RAS Electronic Lock Channels in the states of California, Nevada, Arizona & Hawaii. Prior to Willie’s work at Kwikset, he was employed for 10 years at ADT.  ADT was and remains the largest home security company in the world with over 8 million customers.  He served his first 5 years with this company and became the #1 ranked sales producer in the state of Mississippi.  He served his last 5 years of his employment with ADT in various District Sales Manager roles in California, Hawaii, Washington, NW Oregon, Montana & Idaho.

To provide the YACD organization with the further attention that it needed as a newly developing organization, Willie willingly transitioned away from his lucrative six-figure career as a corporate America executive in the fall of 2018 to serve as YACD’s full-time non-paid Chief Executive Officer for 2 years.  He resumed worked back in corporate America in the early winter of 2021 after multiple YACD local and overseas partnerships had been subsequently launched.

While the YACD organization is a non-religious based entity, Willie in addition dedicates his time to serve as a Christian faith-based evangelist & teacher both in the United States & abroad.  He has served faithfully in the ministry since 2002.

Willie organizationally believes it is important to identify gaps with the career development system that have not been fully addressed and then solve them.  He believes that every young person has great, but untapped potential that must be developed.  For this reason, Willie is leading YACD toward specifically providing developmental support for mostly teenagers that are in the process of matriculating into their careers over their next few years ahead.  He realizes that YACD is reaching these youth in significant chapters of their lives.
